中共中央委员会上周致信各民主党派、全国工商联表示感谢，感谢各民主党派半个多世纪以来为推动国家建设和祖国统一所付出的努力。那么，“民主党派”怎么说呢？

The democratic parties and the All-China Federations¹ of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) have cooperated with the Party in the past five decades as "close friends" and important forces to form the patriotic² united front, push forward economic development, maintain peace and stability and promote the peaceful reunification of the motherland, the letter of acknowledgement said.

感谢信说，各民主党派、全国工商联同中国共产党一起走过了半个多世纪团结合作的光辉历程，是党久经考验的亲密朋友，是发展爱国统一战线、推动经济发展、维护安定团结政治局面、促进祖国和平统一的重要力量。

民主党派为“democratic party”或“non-communist party”；多党合作，政治协商“the multi-party cooperation and political consultation”；爱国统一战线“the patriotic united front”。
