private cars should not be encouraged.

the number of private cars is on the rise in our country. some people think that private cars should be encouraged. others argue that private cars should not be encouraged. i think that too many private cars may create endless problems though they bring much convenience and comfort.first, cars often produce air pollution and fill the cities with unbearable1 noises. second, most of the important cities in the world suffer from traffic congestion2. in fact any advantage gained in comfort is often cancelled out in city by the frustration3 caused by traffic jams, endless queues of cars crawling bumper4 to bumper through all the main streets.third, to own a private car in china will not only cost you a fortune, but also bring you all
kinds of trouble: getting alicense plate, keeping the machine in good maintenance5, finding a parking place at night, etc. what is worse, cars are the main cause of traffic accidents.all over the world thousands upon thousands of people are killed or injured every year. traffic accidents caused by cars not only bring deaths and injury, but also make people suffer mentally and physically6. in addition, our country has a very large population. if everyone had a car, all roads would be crowded with cars!therefore, i think the number of private cars should be limited. we should try to find a safer means of transport that will bring joy and comfort rather than injury and death.
