Chinanews, Beijing, May 11 - China has become the biggest tourist source in Asia nowadays, and it will become the fourth largest tourist source in the world in 2020, not to mention that it is already the fourth largest tourist destination, and will be the number 1 in 2020.
At present, more and more Chinese are able to enjoy overseas travel. In 2006 alone, about 34.52 million Chinese traveled abroad (by turnstile count), a 10% growth compared with 2005. The figure in 2007 will increase 37.4 million this year, another 10% growth. Currently1, China is one of the most active country in international tourism, with a great potential tourism market and widespread influence. It is estimated2 that more than 100 million Chinese will travel abroad every year some 15 years later.
