Chinanews, Beijing, July 2 – According to the Ministry1 of Commerce, the export of about $24 billion worth of Chinese goods is hindered by packing problems every year, particularly goods packed with non-eco-friendly materials.
The National Development and Reform Commission says that it can’t agree more over the matter, and strongly urges Chinese enterprises to pay more attention to the packing their goods. The Department of Industrial Policies of NDRC has composed a series of new regulations on the packing of goods, with the ecoenvironmental standards of developed countries like Japan as important reference. The new regulations will be carried out in September, when the matter will cease to be a headache to Chinese enterprises any more.
