Chinanews, Tianjin, September 10 – The next-generation carrier rocket industrial base of China, covering 550 thousand sq m, will be built in the Binhai New District of Tianjin, according to the contract signed by Tianjian municipal government and Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense¹.

The building of next-generation carrier rocket will play an irreplaceable role in China’s sustainable development of aerospace². The rocket will ensure China’s entrance into space. China is confident in building world-class carrier rockets in the foreseeable future, and the founding of the base will serve this purpose.

The total investment on the base will be 4.5 billion yuan. It can be estimated that the base will greatly promote the growth of related industries in Tianjin.
