Chinanews, Beijing, September 21 – According to Rolls-Royce, China will become the biggest consumer of aircraft and airplane engines by 2028.
Passenger transportation in China has been growing at an annual rate of 8.8%, and the rate might leap in the next a few years. That is to say, Chinese airlines will buy more than 3,000 new aircraft, forming a huge market of $65 billion. In the next 20 years, the global demand for civil aircraft will reach 60,000, or 132,000 airplane engines, and the total market value will reach 700 billion pounds. These aircraft will generate1 an after-sale service market worth $550 billion.
