The hit crime drama "Prison Break" has made its return with a preview trailer for the new season.

The fifth season of the show begins with Doctor Sara explaining to her son the whereabouts of his father.

 

In the last episode of the show, which was aired in 2009, Michael was presumably killed in a rescue mission.

 

However, the new trailer reveals that Michael is alive and kept captive in a prison in Yemen.

 

The two-minute long trailer even shows Michael successfully escaping from the prison.

 

Original cast members including Wentworth Miller¹, Dominic Purcell and Sarah Wayne Callies are reunited for the reboot.

 

The series, which was aired between 2005 and 2009, was instantly a hit on FOX TV, winning Golden Globe Award nominations² for Best Television Series - Drama and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama.

 

It also attracted millions of fans in China.
