With Hong Kong's prolific¹ filmmaker Wong Jing acting² as the film supervisor³, 'Girl of The Big House' or Bao Bei Dang Jia in Chinese, will hit theatres around China this Friday, July 29th.

Wong Jing earlier promoted his film in Beijing.

Girl of The Big House tells a story about a young girl from a rich family who leads her fellow friends to fight a child trafficking gang with wisdom and tactics.

 

Hong Kong actress Miriam Yeung plays the girl's mom.

 

"I think the film also conveys to parent viewers that one's childhood is spent in a flash. If parents could cherish the time with their children, their experiences of being together would develop into a happy memory when kids grow up. I feel gratified acting as a girl's mother."
