An upcoming thriller¹ film 'The Wasted Times', which gathers a number of A-list stars including actor Ge You, director-actor Zhao Baogang, actresses Zhang Ziyi and Yuan Quan, has recently released posters disclosing each single role in the movie.

The thriller film, set to hit Chinese theaters on December 23 this year, tells a story about a Japanese spy hunting down a former friend for the murder of his family in 1920s in Shanghai.

 

The posters show Ge You portraying² a gang leader while Zhang Ziyi portrays³ a girl in pursuit of freedom and love.

 

'The Wasted Times' are also discovered with the scenes including the underworld, the Kuomintang troop, foreign settlements in Shanghai and Japanese military, taking moviegoers back to the Shanghai in old era.
