The fifth installment¹ of the Hollywood live-action Transformers film series, "Transformers: The Last Knight," will hit the world's screens this summer.

Paramount² Pictures said at the ongoing³ Beijing International Film Festival that grand celebrations to mark the 10th anniversary of the Transformers franchise⁴ are expected in Guangzhou city this summer.

The upcoming installment is a sequel to 2014's "Transformers: Age of Extinction⁵." With 288 million U.S. dollars of earnings⁶ in China, the movie topped the country's box office that year.

This summer, Cade Yeager, played by Mark Wahlberg, will team up with the Dinobots while Optimus Prime searches for Quintessons and fights against Unicron.

Michael Bay is the director of all five movies in the series, which is based on the toys created by Hasbro and Tomy in the 1980s.
