Phoenix1, capital of the US state of Arizona, held its 30th Chinese Culture and Cuisine2 Festival over the weekend to celebrate the Year of the Rat and share Chinese culture with local residents.

The three-day event, kicked off at noon Friday, attracted thousands of participants enjoying traditional Chinese entertainment activities such as dragon and lion dances,

The festival is part of the Phoenix Chinese Week, which features a series of cultural, social and educational events highlighting the diverse culture of China.
