Chinanews, Chengdu, Nov. 3 – According to Sichuan Daily, archeologists have made two great discoveries in a tomb of the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) in Mianyang, Sichuan Province: one is probably China's earliest crayon, and second is an iron sword.

The tomb was discovered by a local construction company on Oct. 16. There are 38 metal artifacts in the tomb, one of which is an iron sword inlaid with diamonds.

Song Jianmin, an archeologist from Sichuan, said that the newly1 discovered crayons are red and green in color.
