Disney's "Frozen," directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris

Loosely based on the Hans

Gad5 and Santino Fontana also lend their voices to the film.
This was the first
nomination6 for Jennifer Lee, who also wrote the screenplay for the film. Chris Buck was
previously7 nominated for 2007's "Surf's Up." "Get a Horse!," which accompanied "Frozen" in the theaters, was also nominated in the animated short category.
The other
nominees8 were "The Croods," Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders' film about a
prehistoric9 family who ventures out to find a new home when their cave is destroyed; "Despicable Me 2," Pierre
Coffin10 and Chris Renaud's sequel that follows former criminal Gru as he
reluctantly(不情愿地) works with the Anti-Villain League to stop a new super-villain; "Ernest & Celestine," directed by Stéphane Aubier, Vincent Patar and Benjamin Renner, about the unlikely friendship between a mouse and a bear; and "The Wind Rises," Hayao Miyazaki's film about Jiro Horikoshi, the designer of the Zero fighter plane used by the Japanese in World War II.
