The Norwegian committee that awards the Nobel Peace Prize has demoted its chair for the first time in the 114-year history of the award.
挪威诺贝尔和平奖委员会将一位委员降职，这是自该奖项设置114年以来首次发生类似事件。
 Thorbjoern Jagland, former chair of The Norwegian Nobel Committee Thorbjoern Jagland, a former Norwegian prime minister who has chaired the five-member panel since 2009, has been demoted to just a simple member of the committee.
He's being replaced by Kaci Kullman Five, a senior Conservative politician.
No reason has been given for the move.
Many of the prizes awarded over the past six years of Jagland's term have been controversial, including giving the Peace Prize to newly-elected US President Barack Obama in 2009 and the European Union in 2012.
