A coffee shop in East London has provoked outrage1 after banning Ugg boots and referring to them as slag2 wellies.

Passers-by took to Twitter to express their anger and it's not the first time The Goswell Road establishment has caused controversy4.
Earlier this year it prompted a similar response with a sign saying 'sorry, no poor people' and another that read 'please don't feed the crackies,' referring to drug addicts5.
Brick Lane Coffee are known for their provocative6 chalk board signs.
Previous offerings include: 'One coffee a day keeps Ebola away,' and 'No Northerners (you couldn't afford it anyway).'
