Prince William has been filmed dancing like a dad at a wedding while on a lads' skiing trip in Switzerland.

The future king of England was seen busting¹ some old-school moves inside the Farinet nightclub while holidaying in the upmarket resort of Verbier.

 

Footage taken by a member of the public shows William 'raising the roof' to the hit song 'I Got 5 On It' by American hip² hop³ duo Luniz, before he was seen getting down to some electronic dance music.

 

Websites from across the world, including many in the United States, were quick to share the video, as were others from Commonwealth⁴ countries such as the Daily Telegraph in Australia and the Quebec Times in Canada.

 

William, 34, was alone on the floor as he danced at the violet-hued venue⁵, but he made the trip to Switzerland with several of his close friends.

 

He was photographed hitting the ski slopes and riding in a lift with his pals⁶ in the snowy paradise on Sunday.

 

Princess Kate and her two kids with Prince William were not present at the mountain getaway. They instead are believed to have spent the day in Bucklebury, England, where her parents live, according to People.

 

William did not attend the Commonwealth Day event, which celebrates the 52 counties in the Commonwealth of Nations, on Monday.

 

Decision to miss such a key event in the royal calendar will inevitably⁷ revive criticism that prince is 'workshy'.
