Taiwan model and actor Darren Wang recently went to Shanghai for a photo shoot to promote his new fantasy-style martial¹ arts action movie.

台湾模特兼演员王大陆最近到上海拍摄照片为他的奇幻风格武术动作新电影做宣传。

As a result of the film, the Legend of The Naga Pearls, being set in the fictional² world of Novoland, Darren Wang chose the 119th floor of the Shanghai Tower for the location of his photo shot, benefitting from a background which made it appear as if he was floating in mid-air.

The Legend of the Naga Pearls, tells the story a trio of men, including a witty³ thief, a hardworking constable⁴ and a prince from the human tribe. Darren Wang portrays⁵ the thief. Meanwhile, young actress Crystal Zhang and veteran actor Simon Yam also star alongside Wang.

All three stars attended the ongoing⁶ Shanghai International Film Festival in anticipation⁷ of the film's general release in Chinese theatres, on August 4.
