Madame Tussauds Beijing in the historical Qianmen area recently unveiled a wax replica¹ of Chinese songwriter, composer, music producer and chat show host Gao Xiaosong.

Tourists like to visit the site to enjoy wax figures of celebrities² from home and abroad like Jackie Chan and Johnny Depp.

 

Gao said he was satisfied with the wax replica and encouraged his fans to take photo with it. Also, he got his own hand mold and a miniature mannequin modeled on his wax figure from Madame Tussauds Beijing.

 

Last year, he opened a library in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.

 

He said he enjoys his new identity as a curator and wants to be called "veteran curator" when he's old.
