Chinanews, Guangzhou, July 30 - Sex issues are usually considered as a very private thing in China. In Guangzhou, however, people can now talk about such private things openly and freely. Recently, a sex bar has been set up in Guangda Huayuan, Haizhu District where people can exchange ideas about sex so freely as if they are talking about something about the weather. People no longer regard sex as an embarrassing issue. If one has some questions or problems about sex, they can even get some professional advice from experts there.
The sex bar was established in the Haizhu District Community Service Center. Aiming at imparting knowlege about sex, solving sex problems and promoting sex morality, the sex bar tries to help young couples to solve their sex problems and at the same time guide adolescents to set up a right attitude towards sex. At the entrance of the sex bar, there is a pink billboard1 that reads "Happy Life Family Service Center." When one passes the billboard, one can see that rooms inside the bar look clean and tidy. Some glass cabinets are placed in the rooms. In these cabinets, many small electric gadgets2, in the form of humans, are demonstrating how to make love in pairs. Some pictures showing postures3 in intercourse4 are hung on the wall. People can also read cartoon books about sex in the bar and see some condoms that will vibrate if driven by electricity. The sex bar is open to all residents living in the community, said a staff worker at the sex bar. Most people who come here ask questions about reproduction health or how to give birth to a healthy baby, the worker said. People working in the community service center will, from time to time, invite some doctors from large hospitals to come to the bar to answer people's questions about sex at no cost.
