Chinanews, Beijing, Aug. 28 – On last Saturday, a 7-year-old boy was caught in the clutches1 of a leopard2 in a park near the Badaling Section of the Great Wall in Beijing. Her mother tried her best to get her son back, and they were both injured3 by the leopard. Later they were sent to hospital.

Ms. Shang, who still was staying in hospital told our reporter that they came to visit the park early in the morning. She was busy attending to her relative’s children, when someone shouted that a boy had been seized by leopard. She found that it was her son.

“I immediately rushed over to save my son,” she said. Under other tourists’ help, the leopard finally let go of the boy. Shang spent some 1,500 yuan to treat her and her son’s injuries.
