| Aug. 29 - A competitive selection held in Zhengzhou City, capital of central China's Henan Province, has attracted some 2,000 girls to take part.
One of China's biggest airline companies, China Southern Airlines, is hoping to recruit 61 flight attendants through the mass selection, which is scheduled to be held in five Chinese cities. The website of Xinhua News Agency reported.
The airline company has reportedly lowered its requirements for recruiting stewardesses3, regulating that girls who are aged4 below 25, with a body height between 165 and 175 centimetres can now apply for the job.
However, the company did incorporate a special measure in the interviewing process in order to find the most suitable candidates. It invited five of its long-time clients to be the interviewers to choose the best flight attendants in their eyes.
Those who are fortunate enough to enter the second selection stage will be examined by professional judges as well.
