Chinanews, Changsha, October 18 – The students of Hunan Radio and TV University have founded an organization called “laughing group”, which is meant to help people forget their trouble by laughing out.
At their first meeting on October 16, the members tried to make others laugh by making faces, telling jokes or performing comic dialogues. Young people in Changsha once launched1 a “free-hugs” campaign to help local citizens to feel the warmth and friendliness2 from strangers. Liu Hao, the initiator of the laughing group, admitted that he was inspired by those who took part in the “free-hugs” campaign. Liu wishes he could help people regain3 smile that was drained4 by the pressures from life. Many other students saw eye to eye with Liu. Now the group has more than 50 members. “It is like a big family, where everyone's heart warms to others,” said Xiao Min, a member. “Brain will produce a matter that is good for health every time when we laugh, so come and join us,” he added.
