Chinanews, Guangzhou, Nov. 9 – Recently, a sex culture festival was held in Guangzhou. At the festival, Chen Yiping, deputy chairman of the Guangdong Sexological Association released his findings on Chinese college students' understanding about sex. The research shows that Chinese college students' physical and mental conditions are quite mature. They are less bound by traditional values and are open to sex issues, the Yangcheng Evening News reported.   Chen, who is also president of the Ren Zhi Chu Magazine Press, obtained his findings after he conducted an online research in October. About 4,038 college students participated in the survey.   The survey shows that Chinese college students share similar views with their American counterparts in their views about sex, about sexual health and sexual behaviors. In China, many college students watch “A” grade movies. They live together before getting married or experience one-night stand. In China, about 79% of the college students have had sexual behaviors and 30% of them have experienced one-night stand.   Before entering college, about 30% of American students keep their virginity, while in China, the figure is as high as 79%. This shows that before they start their college life, most Chinese students hold conservative views with regard to sex issue. However, this is no longer the case after they start their college life. For most of the time, if their boyfriend or girlfriend wants to have sex, they won't say no.   Other figures are also alarming. In China, 33% of the college students experience one-night stand during their vacations, while according to the figures released by the American Playboy magazine, in the United States about 35.96% of the college students do so. The two figures are quite similar.   In addition, about 19% of Chinese college students have experienced sex with more than one person, while in the United States the figure is 24%. In China, 17% of the college students have recorded their process of making love or have such process being recorded, while in the United States about 25% of the students have such experience. This shows that Chinese college students have an open mind with regard to the sex issues and sex morals.
