Chinanews, Shanghai, November 9 – According to an official report on the breeding1 of babies in Shanghai, Shanghai mothers spend too little time with their babies, and therefore there is no sufficient2 communication between them.
The report shows that more than 40% of mothers spend less than 12 hours with their babies every day, while nearly 25% of them only spend no more than 8 hours with their babies. In most of the families, it is the responsibility of grandparents to look after the babies in the day, most of whom are not well educated. Although 90% of parents have realized the importance of the early development of sense, language and thinking of babies in the first 3 years, and nearly all of them know the importance of communication between parents and babies, not many of them can afford the time to do so.
