Chinanews, Beijing, November 16 – “It is our work to guarantee law-abiding foreigners a pleasant staying in China while those who don’t abide¹ laws will definitely be punished,” said an official at the telephone and television meeting of the Ministry² of Public Security on November 14, 2007.

The Ministry of Public Security also announced that it will work hard to attract more foreigners to China with a better social environment.

Police are required to perform their duty in a more civil manner, and no unnecessary violent acts should be taken. The lawful³ rights and interests of foreigners will surely be better protected in China.
