Chinanews, Beijing, Nov. 21 – In a hotpot restaurant in Shangqiu city, Henan, the chefs have a special skill which other chefs might not have – they make some dancing movements in front of the customers while making noodles. They move here and there to the music rhythms1 and many customers are quite impressed by their performances. Some even said they came to eat at this restaurant merely to see the dance, CCTV reported.
A customer at the restaurant said this was the first time for him to see chefs dancing while preparing noodles. It was quite an innovative2 idea. Besides, the noodles also tasted good. He enjoyed it very much. Once one of the dancers, Miao Bingbing said he and several other chefs in the restaurant created the dance by themselves. While we are making noodles, we use our hands to let the noodles swing in the air, Miao said. If the moving area becomes smaller, we will make some adjustment to our movements, You Jian, another chef in the restaurant, told this reporter.
