Chinanes, Chengdu, November 29 – The first private business jet in China has rounded off its virgin1 flight from the US to China, with Russia as an interchange. Now the jet is parked at the Civil Aviation College in Guanghan in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
Deng Ping, the president of Xingyao Technology Corp in Yunnan, bought the jet at $4.24 million from Cessna of the United States. Deng himself is the pilot of the jet. Deng has a certificate for flying several kinds of airplanes, and he might use this jet for family transportation. “We have ordered 6 airplanes of the same model before Mr. Deng asked us to buy one for him,” said a clerk of the Southwest Company of China Aviation Supplies Imp2 & Exp Group. It can be estimated that more businesspeople in China will buy airplanes of their own.
