Chinanews, Suzhou, Dec. 13 – Mr. Qian, a businessman who has lived and worked in U.S. for 20 years, has bought a house in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He wants to spend the rest of his life there. Qian believes that as a technological¹ center, Suzhou has a bright future.

A group of overseas Chinese from California recently came to Suzhou to buy apartments there. Local government in Suzhou has planned to build some more extravagant² rest houses, in order to attract more overseas Chinese to live there.

In 2002, Suzhou started building villas³ for oversea Chinese, which have attracted large numbers of returned overseas Chinese.
