A family burial has been held in California for murdered Yale University student Annie Le. 耶鲁大学被谋杀学生Annie Le的家人在加利福尼亚州为其举办葬礼。 Annie Le's funeral was attended by family and friends She was laid to rest in her hometown of El Dorado Hills near Sacramento, two weeks after police discovered her strangled(勒死,使窒息) body on the Yale campus. It was found within the wall of a building where she worked as a medical researcher. The 24-year-old was due to get married on that day. Lab technician Raymond Clark, also 24, was later charged with her murder. In a statement Annie Le's family said she was "a kind-hearted human being who was devoted1 to her family and friends". Annie Le's body was discovered on 13 September by police sniffer dogs(嗅探犬), after days of searching the Yale campus in Connecticut. It was located in a deep recess2 in a basement wall - an area where cables and pipes run between floors.
