MACAO, June 22 -- Macao's composite consumer price index (CCPI) in May increased 0.57 percent over the previous month, standing1 at 113.22, according to official statistics issued on Thursday.
The government-run Statistics and Census2 Service (SCS) dues the rise of the CCPI mainly to the price hike occurred in sectors3 including housing, food and clothes.
However, the prices of entertainment saw decrease in the month, the figures showed.
