Chinanews, Hohhot, Aug. 10 – China's dairy products will dominate the world market some time in the future.China ranks third in the world in dairy products next only to the U.S. and India.

There are the prestigious¹ Yili and Mengniu dairy producers in Inner Mongolia, whose total production volume has reached 7 million tons. Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous² Region known as “China's dairy capital”, is striving to be “the world dairy center”.

According to statistics, Yili and Mengniu's trade volume last year reached 30 billion yuan. China's milk production volume has reached 30 million tons in 2006, and experts are optimistic toward China's milk production industry. In the near future, Hohhot will invested more on the milk production industry.
