Chinanews, Shanghai, December 6 – According to a research by American Express, the total scale of business trip market in China has reached $10 billion, and it is among the fastest growing markets of this kind in the world. 96% of the demand for business trips is from the domestic market, and such needs are usually met by local service providers.
With the fast development of Chinese enterprises, the demand for business trips has never been stronger in China, attracting business trip service providers from both home and abroad. It is estimated that China will become the second largest tourist source and the biggest tourist destination in 2010.
American Express’ report shows that 53% of the responding enterprises plan to invest more on business trips, while the proportion last year was only 28%. Most of the responding enterprises will spend more money on business feasts rather than on air tickets and hotels.
