Chinese animated¹ comedy "Bobby the Hedgehog" will be unleashed² on audiences this July..

中国动画喜剧《刺猬小子之天生我刺》将于今年七月上映。

The trailer shows humanized animal characters with a variety of personalities³ - you could describe it as a Chinese version of "Zootopia".

The story starts with the main Hedgehog character losing his memory. He then embarks⁴ on a series of exciting adventures to discover his true identity.

The much anticipated animation⁵ was made over five years by Daysview Digital Image, a Chinese studio which has previous experience with Hollywood productions.

Famous actresses Zhang Ziyi and Li Bingbing also attended the news conference as investors⁶.
