第38届香港电影金像奖周二公布提名名单。

The hosts of this year's ceremony include Hong Kong actors Louis Koo and Teresa Mo, who announced the nominees2.

Action film "Project Gutenberg" starring superstars Chow Yun-fat and Aaron Kwok garnered3 the most nominations4 at 17, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Makeup/Costume and Best Cinematography.

The competition is fierce in the Best Actor category as international superstar Chow Yun-fat goes up against veteran actors Anthony Wong, Francis Ng and popular Hong Kong singer/actor Aaron Kwok.

Koo, a past winner of the Best Actor award, said that throughout the nomination process he's been watching lots of movies.

"I have a habit of watching movies. Actually, I like to watch, ideally, three movies per day. But, sometimes, I only get to watch one or two. You know the movies are mediocre5 at best if I fall asleep while watching them."

The winners will be revealed during the award ceremony on April 12.
