China's Le Holdings Co Ltd, also known as LeEco and formerly¹ as LeTV, has unveiled several new products including an all-electric battery "concept" car.

The vehicle, called LeSEE, is one of an array of premium² electric vehicles (EVs) due to hit the market in the next few years, from more than half a dozen Chinese-funded EV start-ups.

 

LeSee is not only fully³ electrically propelled but has been engineered to be a "smart", "connected" and "automated⁵ self-driving" car.

 

The concept car will be displayed at next week's Beijing auto⁴ show.

 

At the launch event in Beijing, Jia Yueting, co-founder and head of LeEco, says the company hopes to help realise a future ecological⁶ system for traffic.
