种源安全 germplasm resources security

 

中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平3月6日看望了参加全国政协十三届五次会议的农业界、社会福利和社会保障界委员，并参加联组会，听取意见和建议。习近平强调，种源安全关系到国家安全，必须下决心把我国种业搞上去，实现种业科技自立自强、种源自主可控。

President Xi Jinping on March 6 stressed that germplasm resources security is closely related to national security, adding that China must strengthen its seed industry to achieve self-reliance in the sci-tech development of the sector¹ and keep the country's germplasm resources independent and controllable. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when visiting national political advisors² from the sectors³ of agriculture and welfare and social security, who are attending the fifth session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Xi participated in their joint⁴ group meeting, and listened to their comments and suggestions.
