Olympic bid organizers in Los Angeles are pulling out the star power in their bid for the 2024 Games.
洛杉矶奥运会申办单位动用明星来为申办2024年奥运会助力。
Former Olympians, including Janet Evans, Michelle Kwan and Apolo Ohno have been contracted in the push for the games to be held in LA.
Former Olympic diver Greg Louganis is also among the group.
He competed when the Games were held in Los Angeles over 30-years ago.
"I had the great fortune to be here in 1984 and compete in LA. There were so many questions, traffic and this and that, you know what, it was such a magical time to be in LA in 1984. And I believe that in LA 2024 with our bid, you know I think we can get that back."
Los Angeles is competing with Paris, Rome and Budapest for the 2024 bid.
The winner will be announced next year.
