Chinanews, Beijing, February 17 – Foreigners and natives will enjoy the same price of a ticket to the 2008 Olympic Games, as Beijing has declared that it will be against the “Olympic spirit” to set different ticket prices for people from different places.

It is said that the average ticket price will be affordable¹ to most of the general public, as it is based on the result of a long-term survey. Of course it will be cheaper than the ticket price of the previous two Olympic Games in Athens and Sydney.

“The prices of 58% of all the tickets will be lower than 100 yuan, ”said Liu Jingmin, vice² director of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).
