Chinanews, Beijing, Aug. 11 – Chinese Men's Basketball Team will have a charity match with NBA team in September in Beijing. Yao Ming and Nash will participate in the games.

The preparations for the match are kept secret from the public, but Yao said on Wednesday that the match will be held on Sept. 14, and Nash also supported the match.

Chinese Basketball Association and Yao's spokesman Lu Hao confirmed Yao's statement, but they also revealed that the match being organized by these star players, will have to gain need approval by NBA.

Yao has participated in many charity activities, and he indicated that all the money derived¹ from the match will go to an educational fund for students from poor families.
