Chinanews, Beijing, April 27 - The Badminton Masters China 2007 will be upgraded¹ to China Badminton Super Series 2007, and the event will be held from July 11 to July 15 in Chengdu of Sichuan Province in southwest China, with a total money award of $250 thousand.

There will be 12 "badminton super series" in 2007, all approved by the Badminton World Federation². Obviously, China Super Series will attract more top players worldwide.

"China will send its best players to attend the event, as it will serve as an important chance for them to warm up for the 2008 Olympic Games," said Liu Fengyan, the director of the Table Tennis and Badminton Center of the General Administration of Sports of China.
